ev Transportation Services, Inc. (evTS) is an electric vehicle manufacturer focused on the essential services market. The Firefly ESV is a three-wheeled, all electric utility vehicle designed for fleets, delivery, facility maintenance, parking enforcement, and many other services.

As a Mechanical Engineer at evTS, I am responsible for designing mechanical components and systems for the Firefly, addressing current model design and manufacturing issues, and implementing new model features and improvements.

Responsibilities include:

• Determining system requirements and testing plans

• Performing structural analysis (FEA)

• Creating 3D models and drawings for vendors

• Rapid prototyping of new parts and concepts

• Creating and maintaining bill of materials (BOMs)

• Performing engineering change orders (ECOs)

• Participating in quality processes (FAIs, NCRs, RWOs, etc.)

• Ensuring regulatory compliance with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS)
